The track beds are made of stone composite with a steel beam running along the base.

The supports have yet to be made.įor now my Steam Railway Shuttle track beds float magically off the ground! Except for a few tweaks the track beds are ready. The construction of this track in my park includes a long span over a body of water and for that those default wooden supports simply would not do! I needed to come up with a track bed design that would be suitable for a custom support system that will support these track beds with a series of spans, sort of like my Arched Supports and Railings set. I’ve made my own version of CSO for this ride. I have always liked this version of Cinipaes Mega- Disk O but didn’t like the frame support CSO that came with it. Here I’ve anchored the cable for Imagineer John’s Balloon Flight CFR.

Here’s a centred piece I’ve made for Patrick’s Troika One CFR. Now that I know exactly how to line up the top edges of this CSO to match Giant Slide my next step would be to see if I could make supports as a modular set that could be built beneath any size of slide. To start with I’d like to share with you a test base I made for Giant Slide. I’ve made add- ons for some of the CFR’s that I frequently use in my parks.
